When we walked
through the forest to the village, there were many mona monkeys in the village,
and we heard a shout from one of the houses as a mona fled with something
under its arm. Most of the colobus monkeys were high in the trees around
the edge of the village, looking like inverted candles with their white
tails hanging down in the sunshine.
This monkey, braver than his fellows, sat in a low tree on the edge of the forest, feeding voraciously on its leaves.
